Only In HK

Only In HK

As simple as this is, I still haven’t found anywhere in Brisbane that can make this “soup noodle”. I bring you won ton noodles! For some reason all the won ton’s here in Brisbane only contain pork and feel like pork meatballs wrapped with the won ton pastry. The ones in HK actually have heaps of prawns as well as tasting really good. In terms of noodles, these ones had a springy feel to it. It’s probably my first time having this, and it was so worth it for about 7 AUD I think. So next time you’re in HK, give it a go, many places have it, and it will be well worth your money!

Hey guys! How’s everything going? Well this blog has finally come back from hiatus, to bring you a series of great food, that range from different styles, all from the city of Hong Kong. To start off, I have for you a cold dish known as “Lou Sui” in Cantonese, being a special soy sauce marinade, that is a little sweet, with a bit of salty taste to it.

Pictured here includes boiled egg marinated with the sauce after boiling, duck wings, duck breast, and duck giblets I believe. It makes for a great appetiser to share with everyone, but is also great to serve with rice too! Personally I prefer my mum’s version of it – if I have the chance I’ll post that up sometime too!
