Hotto Doggu~ =)

I took a holiday too, in case any of you were wondering where I went. =P

Back to the blog – anyone recognise what Hotto Doggu(ホットドッグ) is? Or at least heard of it? (It’s English with a Japanese accent) The picture explains all – read on if you’re interested!

Well here you have it – an EXTRA Long Hot Dog. The Japanese sausage always tend to be skinny, and tangy taste to them – you can get something similar to that at Asian Supermarkets in Sunnybank etc etc. They are known as Arabiki Sausages I believe – i recommend u try them, either grill, boil, or microwave them and thats all you need to do! They make a great sandwich with anything too. The sauce on the top isnt really cheese – it just has a tangy, and slightly creamy feel to it as well. It still has some traces of cheese – just no tomato/bbq/mustard sauce. All in all, it makes a great snack – ie, it doesn’t fully fill your stomach lol.

I forgot how much this one cost, but it was at USJ (Universal Studios Japan) in Osaka, so it could be cheaper outside =P
